The Claims Management conference is here!

The final preparations are being made for Claims Management magazine's annual conference for claims management companies, rehab providers, medical experts and insurance and personal injury lawyers and others in the claims sector. The day-long event will take place at One Wimpole Street, London (W1).

Experts and leaders in the claims management sector will be gathered on stage to debate the key topics professionals are facing in 2009 and beyond.

Kevin Rousell, Head of Claims Management Regulation at the MoJ, will host a keynote speech and session on MoJ Claims Management Regulation. He will be followed by the second keynote address by Janet Tilley, Partner at Coleman-Ctts. Janet is a stakeholder representative on the Working Party for Reform and will raise the progress made in that consultation committee, and the impacts decisions will have on the sector.

Other sessions throughout the day include a live practical demonstration of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) by Patrick Walker, qualified mediator. He will highlight how claims handlers and managers can make mediation work for them and the claimant, and show how to pay more than lip service to the much-debated model.

From fighting fraud to accident management issues and what makes the perfect claims management company, the Claims Management conference will address the issues stakeholders need to discuss in a supportive and progressive environment.

The first event of it’s kind has been created after a call from the claims industry for meaningful live debate that supports, not vilifies the sector, so make sure you use this opportunity to get involved.

And of course Emma Waddingham, Claims Management Editor and chair of the conference welcomes Gordon Brown if he fancies a change of scenery from the G20 conference this week – after all, the stage is set to give both sides of the sector a voice and Claims Management is always keen to support engaging, challenging and practical debate.

So come and join us and see how best practice can be shared across the sector, whatever your brief or background. It’s your chance to get involved!
