LV to hire 160 in general insurance
Insurance company LV is looking to recruit 160 new staff members for its general insurance business, based at offices across the country, it has announced.
Most of the positions on offer are in the firm's claims department, but there are also roles in sales, customer services, and technical management, at offices in Leeds, Bristol, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Croydon and Baildon.
The managing director of the firm's general insurance business, John O'Roarke, said: "LV is going through a period of significant growth so it's a great time to join us.
"Our general insurance sales and claims areas are expanding and we are looking for people with experience in these fields but also for individuals who are looking to move into insurance from other careers.
"When many other financial companies are making cut-backs we are growing steadily so this means that in addition to new roles, we are also creating career development and promotion prospects."
