New claims service for QuestGates
Loss adjuster QuestGates has introduced a fast-track accident investigation service designed to help clients manage an imminent reform of the personal injury claims process.
The new rules, to be introduced on April 30 by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), will force insurers to accept or deny liability within 15 days of the accident being reported.
Measures implemented by the company to make the transition easier include telephone-based interviews, the use of SMS to remind concerned parties of appointment times, a refined reporting format and the creation of an MoJ-dedicated section of the firm.
QuestGates believes the streamlined procedure could save clients up to 10 days, in addition to significant cost efficiencies.
A premium service that delivers statements and inspections within 48 hours is also available.
Associate director Gary Woodhall said: "The MoJ reforms dictate that our clients will need a flexible response from their suppliers, involving a speedier turnaround on cases whilst maintaining the quality of reporting to facilitate their decision making process."
